Ellen Middleton - REALTOR®
Many agents seemingly fall into the real estate industry for any number of reasons, but very few set out to join it with intent from the get-go. Ellen Middleton belongs to that latter category.
The Texas State University graduate comes by her passion for it honestly. Her two aunts and her grandmother were/are in real estate, and her father is a commercial general contractor who used to build homes with his father. And she attended interior design school for a time -- Ellen still enjoys using this gift for envisioning a home’s potential as she helps her clients.
In addition to her college education and experience, Ellen also has two designations and a certification under her belt. The Graduate Real Estate Institute (GRI) designation, the Real Estate Negotiation Expert (RENE) designation, and the Residential Inspection for Real Estate Agents certification. And she is working towards a third designation for Seller Representative Specialist (SRS). All of her real estate education makes her confident that she will be able to help her clients, no matter the circumstance.
She and her mother own two successful businesses. One is Blue Spruce Properties where they renovate and rent properties. The other is, Avancé Moving & Storage, an upscale moving and storage company that caters to interior designers in the Dallas Design District as well as help clients move, store, or ship their belongings.
Even though Ellen is involved in three different businesses she takes pride in being able to give her full attention to each individually. And since all three business are real estate or homeowner oriented, they actually allow her to achieve more for her clients because she has all of these resources at her fingertips.
Ellen recently finished remodeling a historic, craftsman style home in the Bishop Arts District, where she lives with her boyfriend, two dogs (Fitzroy & Remington), and two cats (Shiner and Stella). She likes spending her free time exploring Dallas’ hottest restaurants and bars, and going to museums, concerts and plays.
